Calcium Hydroxide

Calcium hydroxide, also called as slaked lime, caustic lime and hydrated lime, is an inorganic compound that comes in the form of white powder or solid. Calcium oxide and water are mixed to make calcium hydroxide. When sodium hydroxide and calcium chloride in water reacts, the process results in this chemical compound. Appears as white powder, it is used in pesticide, hair care, leather, sugar, paper, plastic and many other industries. Calcium Hydroxide USP and Calcium Hydroxide BP are the grades that customers can buy from us. It also works as a clarifying agent, a flocculant and a pH modifier.
